The Beauty Place is a Beauty Salon located on the east side of Ipswich. Established in 2003, now entering its 19th year, has grown from one small room to five fully equipped, multi functioning rooms, boasting a demographically diverse clientele ranging from each corner of Suffolk extending into Essex.
The salon prides itself in creating a professional, relaxed environment for clients to feel welcome and comfortable.
All of our therapists are trained to a minimum NVQ Level 3 and some Level 4, covering a wide range of treatments and are highly experienced.
Treatments range from the basic manicure, pedicure, waxing, eye lash tint and eye brow shape and facials to skin peels, advanced skin blemish removal, IPL Laser hair removal and hot stone massage.
Professional products include, Priori skincare, Eve Taylor aromatherapy face and body care and OPI, Shellac nail care.
Maria, the owner, has 38 years of experience in the Health and Beauty Industry. After completing her C.I.D.E.S.C.O training in Surrey, started her career in London working throughout the 1980’s, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience.
She also gained the Certificate in Education in the late 1990’s and taught Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2 and 3 in an FE college and training centres.

Maria qualified in 1986 in Surrey and worked throughout the 1980’s and mid 90’s in London where she gained extensive experience in the Health and Beauty industry.
In the late 1990’s she gained her Cert Ed and worked in an FE college teaching 16 to 18 year olds Beauty Therapy.
Specialises in Electrolysis, advanced Electrolysis, IPL hair removal and advanced facial treatments.
Kristy qualified in 2001, achieving NVQ Levels 2 and 3. Over the last 20 years she has gained extensive experience in all aspects of the Beauty industry. Kristy joined The Beauty Place in 2011.
She enjoys meeting clients old and new and being able to make them feel relaxed and special as well as giving a professional treatment.
Specialises in facial treatments, waxing, eye lash lifting and brow lamination.
I have always had a passion for Nail Care, so after booking myself on a course during lockdown and qualifying, I now specialise in Gels, Builder in a Bottle and Acrylic nails.
